As a Cannabis Recruiter, you will own the entire candidate lifecycle and work with a Vangst Strategic Account Manager to place top talent with our clients. You will partner with a Strategic Account Manager to understand the client needs and all open positions. You will research, source, interview, prep, and close candidates at every stage of the recruitment life cycle. You will work with your recruiting team to craft the recruiting strategy behind attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent based on the unique needs of Vangst’s clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage a full cycle recruitment process to fill a high volume of open placements to work at cannabis companies.
Work with a Vangst Strategic Account Manager to understand client position intake needs and gain a clear understanding of all open positions available.
Source a high volume of candidates through messaging on Linkedin Recruiter, Vangst internal CRM, networking events and other available platforms.
Submit qualified candidates to the Strategic Account Manager for review and keep them updated on the status of your pipeline, while remaining in constant communication with your candidates to keep them up-to-date on the status of the client search.
Coordinate, prep, and debrief the candidate from client interviews and understand the motivations behind the candidate’s interest in a new role.
Provide a high-level of customer experience to the recruiting process, working to build long-term relationships & pipelines with strong candidates.
Document all candidate communication, sourcing, and interview-status in our CRM to ensure accurate data is documented for performance tracking.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
Proven success hitting monthly, quarterly, and annual recruiting goals.
Ability to identify top talent and understand what each candidate brings to the table to place them with the best opportunity or client available.
Executive presence; ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with teams across multiple time-zones and offices.
Ability to prioritize and to collaborate with other team members to build strategy, maximize pipeline productivity, and effectively fill all open roles.
