What you will do
We’re undergoing a period of huge growth and are actively hiring a People Ops Generalist to help us recruit top talent to join our team and administer People Operations plans and procedures across our offices as we scale. As a key contributor to our People Ops Team, you will work to ensure that our employees are supported in their roles and set-up to thrive at Vangst. You will support our company culture by coordinating and improving initiatives to support hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, culture initiatives, learning & development, compliance and more!
We are looking for someone that has stellar interpersonal skills, loves getting into the details and build out processes and is eager to learn more about how our People Operations function supports organizational success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work alongside our Talent Acquisition Manager to execute high-volume recruiting programs for our open roles by creating job descriptions, posting open positions across our job platforms, sourcing candidates via LinkedIn and interviewing candidates.
Maintain accurate employee data across all HR systems (e.g. Gusto, Freshteam, Asana, Drive) and find ways to better optimize admin and employee use of HR Resources.
Provide weekly reports highlighting trends and observations around overall morale, potential problems, recruiting updates, culture initiatives, etc.
Collaborate with our Operations team planning and coordination of staff outings, our annual Vangster Days, and team-bonding activities & development opportunities.
Respond to internal and external People Ops related inquiries, manage employee change requests and other responsibilities related to staff administration.
Collaborate with People Ops team to promote culture initiatives such as our people newsletter, culture committee meetings, team-bonding activities and engagement strategies.
Serve as the first go-to when an employee has a question, problem, or concern.
Work with our People Ops & Operations team to manage new hire orientation, onboarding and training programs.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role
1-3 years experience in full-cycle recruiting - you truly have a passion for recruiting as a strategic function.
1+ years experience in a People Operations or Human Resources role, working to ensure employee engagement, satisfaction and performance is a top priority
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational/project management experience with a precise attention to detail.
Experience working in high growth and fast-paced environments
Experience working with ATS systems and managing job boards across multiple channels
A strong sense of urgency and the work ethic to support it.
